Testimonials for Waragil Cottage Blue Mountains

A great little place with everything we needed, and plenty of room. Close to everything we wanted to visit and lovley and quite. Wish we could have stayed longer. Already told friends.
thank you for providing a great little get a way place.

Grace & Adrian

A wonderful cottage with a great backyard. Clean, spacious. and a great place for friends to hang out or for a large family.

Chris

Great beds! The kitchen was well enough equipped for us to have a full roast dinner Saturday evening. The village was fun to wander in and close to great walks.  I'd visit again.

Did anyone find a glasses case with a pair of red-framed glasses inside?  I know I took them, but they didn't arrive back home with me.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay in mid winter with my 5 and 4 year olds.  Lots of space and areas for the kids to play both indoors and out in the LONG garden - they loved the two rope swings.  Towels and teatowel provided.  Loved that there's no TV.  Good selection of books and some toys for little ones (under 3 best catered for).  No dishwasher and sink really low - I'm only 5'9" and had to squat to do the dishes!  Heater in the central lounge works well in the immediate area but certainly doesn't warm the whole house - column heaters provided for other areas. There are multiple 'levels' inside the house so not suited to wheelchairs or disabled very well.  Could easily house 6 people (2 doubles/2 singles) or more with fold out couch - just need to share the one bathroom with integrated toilet.
Will certainly consider staying again in the future - much nicer than standard motel rooms and a real bargain if sharing costs between couples.

Great little cottage! Plenty of blankets and heating made our winter stay cosy and warm.Very well equipped kitchen and a beautiful sunny backyard.Fantastic value.Perfect place for families on a budget to stay.

Wendy

We stayed there a few weeks ago and loved it! It was so reasonably priced and was just really cute. Would definately stay there again,

Sarah

Spent three nights here and enjoyed our break in the Blue Mountains. We came out from Sydney and travelled by train - an easy commute and great location for seeing the sights. Did some great walks!!

Kaye & Graham

A great base for all our exploring, including Jenolin Caves. No tellie, lots of games for evening, clean and a well appointed kitchen. Great value for money with all the basic necessities. Lovely garden but not much chance to enjoy with short winter days and lots of exploring. Perfect for our small family of 3.

Angela

Very pleasant cottage and very well equiped even toys for kids.
And so many information and books about walks and activities nearby.

Mathieu

The four of us spent 3 days at Waragil Cottage just before christams and we found it very relaxing. There is a nice library there and music and plenty of rooms to find your own space. Our bedroom was very bright and sunny. We went on great mountain walks, which themselves were just a short walk away, that included amazing views, small waterfalls strong and flowwing streams. The shops and what not are a 10 minute walk away and the town is very friendly and welcoming. When you have finished all the above, jump in the car and you have a whole new bunch of things to discover within the near vacinity. Or if you choose to, you can take a 50 minute drive to the great Janolan Caves where you can lost for a day in another world.

Very comfortable and convenient. We enjoyed the two nights, and did a lovely walk through Popes Glen to Govetts Leap, then back to Blackheath via Braeside. The walks information at the cottage was much appreciated, as were the books on plants and animals.

Margaret and Chris

Very cute and cosy cottage in convenient location. The kids loved the garden. We had a lovely weekend.
