The Gully Cottage is a gorgeous charming little weatherboard home, that is as cute as a doll’s house, with all creature comforts you could desire.
The cottage comprises of two bedrooms, sunroom, full bathroom and an open plan living room and kitchen that opens onto a large deck.
Both bedrooms have queen size beds, plus one of them has an extra double mattress that can be laid on the floor and there’s a single or double day bed in the front room which enables the cottage to accommodate a maximum of 8 people in total.
The cottage has a slow combustion fireplace with firewood provided, air-conditioning and a gas heater.
The house has a very private garden at the back with a deck, small gas BBQ and an outdoor hot tub spa. Families with kids might be happy to know there is a little cubby house for the kids to play in, a trampoline to bounce on and bikes in the shed you can cycle around on (just note there are lots of hills!).

The cottage is located just 750 metres from Katoomba town centre and approximately 1km from Katoomba train station. You have easy access to the amenities and many shops and cafe’s of Katoomba, yet the cottage is a little oasis that backs onto a nature reserve, so it’s an incredibly calm and quiet spot.
The cottage is across the road from historic Gully and Catalina racecourse and pond. It’s worth going around the course on foot or bikes. There is also a leisure centre just across the road (it has indoor & outdoor swimming pools and a huge kid’s indoor play area). The Three Sisters is only a short drive away, plus plenty of beautiful walking tracks nearby, so there is no shortage of activities to do!
